Assam PSC Junior Engineer 80 vacancy posts recruitment
Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
- Name of the Post :- Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- No of posts = 80 (Eighty)
Eligibility Criteria :-
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and
must be a permanent resident of Assam.
As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident
Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be
treated as proof of residency.
Education Qualification :-
- The candidate must have a Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical
institute recognized by the Government. - The Diploma must be a Regular course. Diploma courses obtained through Distance Mode of
Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted. - Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official
language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to
Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council
Age Limits :-
- candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.
The upper age limit is relaxable - By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
- For Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of
candidates - 12 (twelve) years for Ex-Servicemen candidates i.e. upto 50 years irrespective of Un-reserved
candidates - 15 (fifteen) years for Ex-Servicemen candidates i.e. upto 53 years irrespective of OBC or MOBC
candidates - 17 (seventeen) years for Ex-Servicemen candidates i.e. upto 55 years irrespective of SC or ST
candidates

application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected. - Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the
APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link
and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details. - CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO REGISTER WITH VALID AND ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS IN THE ONLINE
APPLICATION. INTERVIEW SCHEDULE AND REQUIREMENTS WITH REGARD TO COPIES OF CERTIFCATES
